We compared the regular prices on BAPE’s own online shops in Japan, the US, the UK and Europe in October 2026: 553 items sold in both Japan and the US, matched by BAPE’s style number (like 1M80-192-001). Every one was at least 15% cheaper in Japan for US shoppers, after sales tax at home and Japan’s tax refund. The typical (median) saving was 49%. For UK shoppers (166 items in both) it was 35%.

BAPE’s US prices follow the yen price closely, so the gap is about the same on almost every item: its US$129 College tee is ¥12,100 in Japan, about US$71 after the refund.
