We compared the regular prices of 1,866 Valentino styles on Valentino’s own websites in October 2026, in the 10 of our countries with Valentino boutiques (there are none in Portugal). For US shoppers, 98% of the styles sold in both Italy and the US were at least 15% cheaper in Italy after the tax refund. The typical (median) saving was 33%.

The euro countries print the same price. Italy, Valentino’s home, comes out about a point ahead because its refund is a little bigger; Spain, France and Germany are within a point of it. Outside Europe, Japan is about a quarter cheaper for US shoppers.
